It is famously known around the world as “Dracula’s Castle” because of its association with Bram Stoker’s fictional Count Dracula and the legends surrounding Vlad the Impaler. The historical connection between Vlad and Bran Castle is limited, but the castle’s dramatic architecture and Transylvanian setting have made the Dracula legend inseparable from its modern identity.
